Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation of Canada
This scholarship is proudly offered annually to any Canadian (citizen) woman who is active in her Ph.D. studies.
The criteria under consideration are scholarship, leadership, community service and future plans.
Founded in 1992 by a group of Kappas who wanted to support outstanding women pursuing higher education, the Foundation has awarded scholarships totaling $292,700 to 57 outstanding Canadian women. Each of our recipients embodies the values and attributes of scholarship, philanthropy and leadership at the core of Kappa. At the same time, they are unique individuals that represent modern Canadian women with a diverse group of backgrounds, interests and paths to their success and studies.
The 2026 scholarships have been awarded.
The next application window will open in early 2027.
In order to be eligible you must:
- be a Canadian citizen
- be currently enrolled in a Ph.D program
- have at least a year left to completion of your program
